zeggtangles

I used egg shaped river rocks to make these zentangle eggs (zeggtangles). I used a sharpie regular and a sharpie ultra fine point. Milliande's site has a zendala egg page with some great examples. She's the one who put out that really great zendala youTube video in an earlier post.

Mmmm - these look gorgeous - more ideas to explore! Would I look even more suspect taking pebbles into a meeting to decorate?

Imagine the great bird that could sit on this nest or the great rabbit that hauled these in his heavy easter bag!! Beautiful and enduring art - would be awesome in a terrarium.

wow--these are amazing. I remember when I was little, my mother blew the eggs out and would then paint them -- have you ever done that?

Elizabeth - yes, my mom still does that sometimes - even my dad :) ..... my mom really likes decorating them with ribbons and trims and making them into xmas decorations. I get frustrated at how easily they crack - I think egg shells are not as strong as they used to be - maybe free range eggs are better ....
